Overview
About Me
I am currently a 19 year old student from California who is looking to travel the world and meet interesting people before I am tied down by work and school for the foreseeable future. I have an interest in film making, and have helped make some short films for people living in or near San Francisco.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always been interested in the different cultures of the world and seeing how they influence the people that live there. Couch surfing would be the most engrossing way to experience culture. Being able to exchange stories about how people live in different countries would be amazing to me.
Interests
A lot of my free time is spent watching and analyzing movies. I am trying to get into film making, and have been working with local short film makers in the San Francisco area. I also love to play video games of all kinds. Taking in different media allows me to broaden my cultural boundaries.
I'm not entirely sedentary, though. I sometimes like to go outside to practice archery, even coaching at a camp during summers.

Music, Movies, and Books
Sadly, I don't really listen to as much music as many other people, so my answer to this is fairly limited. If I had to choose, I'd say David Bowie, Beck, and Frank Sinatra. The sheer versatility that these people had/have is inspiring.
As far as books go, I could reread the Harry Potter books indefinitely. They dropped at the perfect time in my life, and going back through them again makes me realize that they actually are as good as the child me once thought.
My favorite movies are still up for debate, but Pulp Fiction, Seven Samurai, and Moonrise Kingdom always make their way into the top. I could write essays about why, but I probably shouldn't.
