Over-educated academically and burnt out from the real world, so have returned to trying to be a full-time classical, jazz and blues musician. I have 28 years of both full and part-time experience as a professional music teacher (contemporary and classical), ballet accompanist, church musician, all-around piano man (piano bars, restaurants, cafes, etc). I have an equal passion for entertaining as a lounge lizard and for refining my classical skills and repertoire. Have created and hosted 'Beer and Beethoven' events that were smash hits with a limited audience.
I also have a MA in Religious Studies/Classics and a Bachelor of Social Work, so no shortage of conversational topics with artsy/philosophical kindred spirits.

I have had numerous successes as a music teacher -- I've always dreamed of trading piano lessons for regular accommodation ;) I also have fun helping kids with their homework, as long as it's not maths or sciences.

Hours and hours of piano and vocals -- I usually leave the guitar to others. I LOVE doing dishes. Love cooking but don't take or follow directions very well -- I'm too much outside the box for that. Same with chores. I'll take out the garbage everyday, but don't ask me to vacuum unless you accept that a spot I miss one day will likely be covered the next ;)
