Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I'm open, easy going and care-free I feel I can get on with almost anyone. I'm open to other people's beliefs and ideas so I find it easy to make new friends and I don't get apprehensive about joining in with other groups of people who are already good friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've already traveled to various countries and I've made many new friends in the places I've visited, resulting in me sleeping on their couches. Unfortunately none of these experiences were gained through this site, as I don't think it was up and running at the time.

Interests

People and the way they work, what I can learn from them and how incorperating their thoughts into mine may make me a better person. I'm sporty, like to ride bikes, skiing, jogging, swimming, travelling and lots lots more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big cinema buff and love all films, regardless of their genre.

I like different types of music, ranging from heavy metal to dance and classic to pop. It all depends on my mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Perpetual dawn, as the sun moved across the sky. Literally not rising or falling and all the time staring out upon a frozen sea. Tromso Norway

Standing on scaffalding in Germany, during the World Cup and looking out on 20,000 England fans who were watching the same game along the Rine. As I got in to position to take a photograph I was infront of another screen with another 20,000 fans behind me. We were comprible to the river which we were next to. Both in width and length, as far as the eye could see. Berlin Germany.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - I can advise/teach people who are wanting to travel around europe.

Learn - Other people's ways and customs.

Share - Myself. The highs, the lows and everything in between.
