ABOUT ME

I'm just a pretty average dude, I suspect. Down to earth, good sense of humor, easy to get along with. I'm in my final year of a double degree (Physics and Mathematics), after which I will hopefully be pursuing a PhD in astrophysics.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm generally a 'live and let live' kind of guy. I think the world is too intolerant and materialistic, and I think it's the responsibility of those who can see the truth of that to make the effort to change it.

I hate these types of questions. Being asked to summarize your tastes in the arts is like being asked to pick five words that perfectly summarize your personality. Still, if it helps:

Movies: Anything but horror (horror movies are always boring and full of giant plot holes). I'm a sucker for happy endings.

Music: Too much to list. Frightened Rabbit is what's totally blowing my mind right now. 10 other randomly selected bands from my playlist: Death Cab for Cutie, The Gaslight Anthem, The Get Up Kids, The Black Keys, Japandroids, The Album Leaf, The Glitch Mob, Jethro Tull, Peter Gabriel, and The American Dollar.

Books: Physics. Ungodly amounts of physics. On the rare occasion I get to do some recreational reading, it tends to be something in the fantasy genre. Slowly working my way through The Malazan Book of the Fallen.

I've seen some pretty amazing things through the eyepiece of my telescope. The blue snowball (NGC 7662) is probably my favorite.
