Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
Walk the ends of the Earth; discuss life, the universe and everything with its inhabitants, and then head out for a drink.
ABOUT ME
27 year-old male, English speaking traveller (and low level Spanish). Born in Australia, living in London, and citizen of the world. I am an avid explorer, highly curious about the nature of all things, and above all else enjoy sharing what I find and learn with the people I meet.
PHILOSOPHY
Wealth is determined not by how much you have, but by how much you have to give. The more that you give, the more you will receive in terms of the true currencies - love, friendship, kindness, compassion, forgiveness and respect.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
Travel is about meeting people and learning to see the world through their eyes, and by experiencing their corner of the planet as they do. Couchsurfers is perfect for bringing likeminded people together and allowing them to experience people and places in an authentic capacity, and can be equally rewarding for both.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
I once played a game of Risk with five players of different nationalities on a sun soaked, vine-covered porch in the hills of Granada, opposite the Alhambra, divided by a valley, and drinking beer. It really is the small things in life..
I also recently embarked on a ten-day trek through the Annapurna Sanctuary in Nepal to Annapurna base camp. The diversity and awe-inspiring landscapes of the trail and surrounding terrain largely untouched by the rapacious and crippling processes of industrialisation and the consumerist culture filled me with a profound sense of peace and contentedness that seems unique to settings of sublime natural beauty that lie beyond the rat race and the machine age.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
No person will ever make it as far, high, deep, or inward on their own as they will with the help of others. We may not know where we're going but it's no secret how we are supposed to get there.
Conversation/communication is undervalued by too many people, given that it is the portal to infinite possibility. In modern society, the way we often communicate is a bit like using a computer as a source of light, and ignoring its higher functions.
