Interests

I love to travel, but not just to tourist traps and beach resorts. I prefer the street cafè and the local pub. I'm a huge movie buff, love all genres of music, and enjoy learning about other cultures and beliefs. Also a fan of hiking, games, a good book, adventures and any kind of journey or pilgrimage.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, movies and books. Favorite music ever? I don't even know where to start. Favorite movie ever may be Dead Poets Society. Casablanca is up there too. Books? Another tough one. Travels With Charlie. A Walk in the Woods. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. The Alchemist. Into the Wild. In a Sunburned Country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So far, my favorite or "one amazing" thing would perhaps be my Appalachian Trail hike in 2004. I've had trouble accepting that it was the only epic adventure I would ever have, so I've decided to make sure that's not the case.
