About Me
Hello!
My name is Chris Hosler and I'm your typical traveller that's bad at staying in one place. I was first introduced to traveling on my own when I studied abroad in Hong Kong for a year. Ever since I caught the travel bug and haven't stopped.
I currently just moved out of Hong Kong as an English teacher and will move to New Zealand searching for farm/outdoor work.
I have been told I'm a good listener, open minded and a fun drunk (usually). I have loads of patience having worked with kids and retail so I'm pretty chill about most things.
When I travel to meet friends. I'm the type of person that doesn't care if I don't see the sights. I'd rather spend the time catching up with someone. The buildings and museums will always be there but friends won't.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and not be accused of being an alcoholic/fatty when I go out to drink/eat.

One of my most amazing trips was getting to go to Myanmar and visit the city of Bagan. There are temples everywhere to explore in. There were barely any tourists and I met some amazing people at the hostel I stayed in.
