CURRENT MISSION

I have the winter season off so I'm traveling as much as I can. I will be going to Hawaii from 1/12 to 1/26 and then to the boundary waters with my dad for some cross-country skiing. Maybe Texas after that.

ABOUT ME

I am an adventure enthusiast. Adventure and travel has been my core since I took my first solo road trip in 2009. I'm currently seeing where the road will take me. I'm happiest when I am hiking a mountain or meandering down a stream. I love my family. There is much to convey but so little time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I give people rides when they are hitchhiking because so many people have been so kind to me. Sadly, not too many people hitch-hike nowadays.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One girl in Green Bay gave me a couch to sleep on after a Packer game which was extremely kind of her. If I had my own place I would be open to letting people in.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiking the Appalachian Trail. I hiked it in two sections 2010 (1,006 miles) and 2015 (1,300 miles). Re-hiked some of it in 2015. I really want to hike the PCT and CDT and other long-distance trails in the future. Perhaps, I will hike the Lone Star Trail before I get back to work.

2009 -West Coast solo road trip 10 National Parks 1mo.
2010-Appalachian Trail-1,006 miles, Olympic National Park Road trip
2011-Worked in Cannery in Alaskan wilderness, Denali NP and Kachemak State Park, Road trip to Theodore National Park
2012-Train trip to Glacier National Park and road trip to Olympic National Park
2013-Three month road trip on east coast from Maine to Key West, Acadia, Shenandoah, Florida Keys, Northeast Kingdom, Mammoth Cave
2014-Moved to Vermont (Northeast Kingdom), England, Finland, Russia 1mo. Began tower climbing throughout Midwest
2015-Finished Appalachian Trail (1,183 mi, +100-mile Wilderness), Hiked 70 miles of Superior Hiking Trail
2016-January-Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, bunch of national southwest monuments, tower field technician Midwest, visiting Pipestone, Theodore Roosevelt NP, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Beaver Island, Canada (Fort Frances), Train trip to WV, MD, and to NC for Outerbanks
