My educational background is in Chemistry. However, I have been involved in the sales of Cosmetics for several years.

I am very enthusiastic about making friends from other countries. This is a marvelous way to learn about other cultures. One of my hobbies is to read about the customs of other peoples. As a member of Couchsurfing I can be part of an international group. So it's possible for me to contact young persons from other countries.
In addition, I like travelling. I find it even more interesting to travel with other friends from abroad. Couchsurfing organise some excursions and this sounds very attractive to me! In addition, the events, the parties and discussions make Couchsurfing even more interesting.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I enjoy listening to music. My favorite rhythms are the tuneful ballads, Latin and rock.
Watching a film is a wonderful idea for the evenings. I prefer spy films or stories with mystery solving. In addition, I enjoy smart comedies.
My favorite books are the ones involving historical facts or social problems or mystery.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

At the age of 20 I decided to spend some time abroad as part of my studies. Erasmus program was an interesting idea! This was the first time in my life to go to another country. I chose Great Britain because of its renowned educational system. I travelled to Leeds to spend a semester there. I left Greece alone for the first time and arrived in Leeds. I didn't know anybody there. I chose to live in a house with a local family to practice my language skills. I became acquainted with my new life very quickly. I never felt depressed although I didn't met other Greek students outside the University during the first weeks! I made friends from other countries and finally my semester in Leeds turned to an unforgettable experience!
