2017 was my year of traveling, participated in a couple volunteer projects in North Africa, Eastern Europe and Mexico. Met a ton of great people on the way, and learned lessons I won’t trade the world for.

As for books, I mostly read the ones related to my field (sociology), books about stratification and gentrification. I also love books on plants, architecture and painting.
Big fan of podcasts, my personal favorite are planet money, NPR politics, Freakonomics, How I build This, and Serial.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked 20km on a 1,950m mountain in gym shorts and graphic tee with no food supply, cuz I mistook it as an easy-breezy stroll. But hey, I didn’t give up!

So much...where do I even start!? I’m very interested in learning about other’s life stories, therefore I certainly won’t mind sharing mine. We can talk for hours about culture, travel, language, history, politics. I won’t shy away from sensitive issues or things we might not agree on, I truly believe we learn the most from differences.
I can also provide you the most minute detail about places I’ve traveled to and would gladly hook you up with the right person if you are planning to go where I have friends or family.
