HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've tried to couchsurf a couple of times before (all pretty last minute) so none have worked out yet... I used it while living in Europe. I lived in a hosting-friendly environment in Barcelona and loved it. Our futon always had someone new and interesting sleeping on it-- usually friends of friends. I am now just finishing up a 2 year stint as a volunteer English teacher in rural Namibia, Southern Africa. I am now traveling while making my way back home. I'd love to met some new people during my travels!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've loved spending time with the travelers we hosted in Barcelona... just can't wait to become more involved in CS!

I love trying new things (including food, of course!), being active with cycling and water polo, and hanging out-- whether it's with friends or soon-to-be friends.

I'm a linguist-- so I can share language skills. Spanish, Mandarin, Catalan, or French. I can also teach how to cook some pretty great Mexican and Spanish dishes.
