I'm Chris!

First and foremost, I am a learner. I love love love learning about new cultures, new world-views, new anything.

Secondly, I am a musician, a sailor, a traveler. I love music, but there is also a most welcome place for silence. I love the ocean breeze, but not so much the frosty city wind. I love to travel, but am repelled by exploitative tourism.

I adore food and one of the first things I do in any new place is check out the local grocery store. It is amazing what you can discover about a new culture from its grocery stores. My favorite food of all time is fresh corn tortilla chips and a nice fiery salsa. You make me salsa, we will be friends.

Also, I love beer. (Who doesn't these days?)
