ABOUT ME

I have a compulsive need to make things. Music, stories, laughter, art. I feel like biking around Raleigh somehow makes the world a better place, butterfly effect style.

PHILOSOPHY

At any moment, every person has a certain intention. Right now my intention is to write a few sentences that help people get to know me, for example. People with similar intentions are attracted to each other and become friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When school starts I'll be living in lovely Boone, NC, and I'll be happy to take people in and show them our tiny town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had one great experience in Asheville, and I sleep on my friend Jane's couch every time I've had too much to drink.

Interests

I like bikes, guitars, pianos, brains, consciousness, exploring the wilderness, ants, salamanders, slugs, flowers, leaves, talking to the universe.

I respect any artist who has ever endeavored to share their mind. I'm not really into rap but I'm trying.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a tree root growing up the trunk of its own tree. It held fast to it using some kind of natural wooden paper clips.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning that happiness is found within, and it brings happiness without. I am also learning that the same can be said for fulfillment, success, relaxation, and awesomeness.
