ABOUT ME

Well, I guess I'm a straightforward, honest, easy going kind of guy. I try not to make expectations in life because I don't want to limit what's possible! I work as an engineer, I love to sail, work on cars (and drive them), planes (some day I hope to get a pilots license), take trains, and maybe someday go to space?
Lauren is fun, friendly, and loves to cook. She is working a day job in the Engineering field, but at her core she is a singer/musician. She loves music more than most things, and enjoys whipping up a good meal and a good drink.
We both love to travel, play music, laugh and adventure. Upbeat and fun are two great words for us. Expect some good conversation!

PHILOSOPHY

If hundreds of people on earth enjoy something, its probably a good idea to try it at least once.
If you find something you like doing, do it as often as you can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couchsurfed at a great guy's apartment in paris, as well as had a few people over at my house!
it is always great fun, and a lot of the time you can end with a new friend!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is my absolute favorite, the chance to live in someone else's life is really the best way to see the world

So as I was saying I love transportation and stuff, I am studying and have a job as an Electrical Engineer, so I love to find out how stuff works. I work on cars, fix electronics, build stuff, and of course, love to socialize. Living in New York, I like to find new places to hang out, meet with my friends, work on my little car, and more than anything; learn something new!
Lauren's interests are music (any type of music from gypsy music to classical to rock and hip hop - as long as its good), good movies (especially the older variety) and making a good mixed drink or scotch. She is currently working to be an opera and maybe jazz singer, and she will knock you out with her voice!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hmm... So I won first place in the Arizona's Governor's Cup regatta (sailing) race when I was 13, where I was the only person under 30 which was a total thrill!
And I installed a satellite antenna (that I partook in designing) for internet that I designed on a cargo ship while it was sailing across the Mediterranean sea.
I suppose the first time I was in Europe I was completely awestruck with how awesome the people there are, and how different but the same it is from America, although the scenery is so different and beautiful, the people are just as nice as back home.

As for my girlfriend, she says the most amazing thing she has seen in her lifetime was my record collection.
