WHY I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting people along my road to learn about their area

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only one so far, which was really successful. My hold back so far has been poor internet connections and ever changing routes/timelines, but mainly that I have my house with me.... So need a safe place to park her! When I am travelling alone, I just need to park: my bed is inside!

Intereses

Travels (a bit obvious, right?), experiencing different cultures through meeting people, watching a good fire (chemney or braai... Depending on where in the world I am), sharing knowledge if this can help someone, somewhere - it will always help me anyway.

Leaving alone with my car to travel through Africa. I am at home whenever I stop: the world is just my living room! I have been on the road for 20 months in the last 30 months.
And I have a great little home, all I need at hand... and even a spare bedroom with the roof tent that can sleep 2 more. Has been great when travelling with 1 or 2 more fellows travellers

Enseña, aprende, comparte

DIY freak, enjoying building and fixing things (not always successful though!). A bit of boring project managment stuff that i can share with practical case.
Otherwise, too humble or shy to think that i can bring much more other than my happiness. But, i am a sponge keen to learn... And then share back elsewhere.
