ABOUT ME

I am a nice, funny, open-minded, helpful, tidy and polite guy. I have wasted most of my youth and university time memorizing quotes from The Simpsons and scribbling down notes about obscure video games so it is a miracle I ever got my degree. Still, I'm not a deprived nerd child. I am very communicative, love to see new places and try out new things. Challenge me! :) Also, I love and care for animals!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host one or two people in a guest room in my apartement and will be happy to show you around the Mainz/Wiesbaden/Frankfurt area and the rhine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far. But I really like the idea.

Interests

I am totally into movies, video games, music and books, everything that tells a good story or fuels imaginations. I love to meet new people, hear their stories and learn from them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Everything from extremely bad horror movies to european arthouse. I even like Uwe Boll. :)
Music: If your band can shred a guitar and has a good drummer, count me in. Examples: Led Zeppelin, The Who, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Black Keys, etc.
Books: I have yet to find modern literature that can stand up to the likes of Miguel de Cervantes and Shakespeare. If you think you have something, let me know!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing an active volcano on Bali/Indonesia in the dark with my girlfriend, reaching the top just in time for sunrise and breakfast with the natives. Awesome!
