Hi! I am Chuanxu. I have lived in China for 17 years and moved 3 times because my parents changed their jobs. I think that's why I am not very homesick and would like to travel a lot. I like listening to different kind of music which depend on my mood and also like watching movies and TV shows. My favorite sports is basketball which I have played for 8 years and I am in school team now. Currently, I am studying in Singapore, Computer Science at Nanyang Technological University. And I am also interested in learning different languages, which in my opinion is the easiest way to experience a different culture. Now, I am working at Old Faithful Lodge because of work and travel program. I really love Yellowstone National Park and people here. Then I decide to travel to different places in America and experience more things!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I would like to make new friends and experience a new culture, especially food! My friend who has experienced CouchSurfing really suggest me trying it. Since I will start my travel trip on July 5th and lasts for a month. I think couchsurfing will be a good way to see different people and exchange different ideas. That's why I like CouchSurfing instead of hotels. I really love cooking so I can make some nice Asian food for the host! This journey will be super valuable with CouchSurfing!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing thing I have done is choosing to enroll in the Work & Travel program in Yellowstone National Park. I really love the sceneries here and people here, which really change my old mind back in hometown. I made a lot of new and cool friends and I promise them I will come back to America and visit them again. The beauty of nature and the kind and friendly people from all over the world here let me realize what I should focus in the future. This is really an incredible trip!

I can teach Mandarin and how to cook some simple Asian food or some simple coding skills if you want to learn:) I can also share some traditional Asain culture and festivals and different funny stories happened in both China and Singapore, especially in America since this is the first time I have been here. If you want to learn how to play pingpong, basketball or swimming, I can also teach!

I wish I can learn some American cooking ways such as pie or pizza and some Spanish too! And I am also interested in American daily lifestyle, which is also why I join CouchSurfing.
