ABOUT ME

I want to do two things in my life, at least right now. I want to be in a touring band and I want to be a research scientist. That said, I love music and I love science. I also love learning things - things about people, things about the world and things about myself. Also, I have the time, resources and inspiration to travel right now and I am really looking forward to getting some good ol' fashioned adventures in.

PHILOSOPHY

I live life to inspire and feel inspired. This is what brings me happiness and this is what shapes the world around me.

I am primarily a surfer, but when I'm settled down a have a couch available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of my experiences thus far have been wonderful. It's just awesome to get to a country you've never been to and feel as though you already have friends there.

I love music made with authenticity. Human emotions. Tom Waits, Modest Mouse, Sonic Youth, Fugazi, Radiohead and Bon Iver are amongst my favorites. I love jazz, hip-hop, electronica, acoustic stuff, all kinds of punk and underground music.
I don't watch many movies, but I enjoy them when I do. I love Waking Life, Fight Club, Pan's Labyrinth and anything directed by Stanley Kubrick or David Lynch.
Kurt Vonnegut, Phillip K. Dick, John Steinback, HP Lovecraft, Jack Keruac, Tom Wolfe,...I love books. Science fiction, non-fiction and Beat literature are my faves.

After highschool, me and my closest friends went on an epic roadtrip from California to the East coast of Canada. It was awe-inspiring, challenging and spiritually rewarding. I developed connections I cherish and became the person I am today.

I am a master of self expression, human connection and self reliance. I will teach you how to improve your life through songwriting, journal keeping and poetry, meditation and self exploration. I've also got a knack for cooking and coffee/tea making. I can explain physics to pretty much anyone. I can also soothe any beast with my guitar playing.
