ABOUT ME

I am that guy who stands at the edge, ready to jump into the river below, and is as scared as hell but jumps because it makes my heart beat and my pores sweat!

I am an intellectual. I get along with anyone, yes, anyone. from bigot to free spirited Kenyan chick(you know yourself). I'm crazy and unpredictable but am as rooted as a willow(sigh) but I fight everyday not to be.

I've done the hotel thing and it felt like being on an island I could have found in my home country. I did backpackers and they were much better but they were still an island of comfort and limited the expericnce. Couch surfing throws one into the mix that is the country they visit.

Suddenly, abruptly, as a couch surfer you are eating the local food, listening to local dialect, drinking local drink and not in some simulated environment but in some local dude's/dudete's house. couch surfing is the real deal.
