Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
ABOUT ME
I'm a recent college grad with no practically marketable skills whatsoever. I have a job with the Ohio State Legislature...that doesn't start til December. I'm new to Columbus and pretty desperate to meet new people!
PHILOSOPHY
I want to live a simple life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'll get back to you on that once I've had one!
Interests
I love obscure words, languages, literature, the gratuitous use of semi-colons, going places other people don't typically go, not eating animals, scuba diving, progressive causes, critical theory, whales and dolphins, irony, local beer, and impractically large dogs.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll read anything, watch anything, and I like to listen to songs on repeat.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wanted to live in Wales so I arranged an internship at a magazine in Carmarthen one summer. I went to the National Eisteddfod and saw the Chairing of the Bard, spent a night in Dylan Thomas's bedroom, got drunk at a fancy wedding reception of a couple that I'd never met, hiked up a mountain in the rain to see the lake which is allegedly the entrance to the Otherworld, had dinner with the editor-in-chief of a prominent Welsh publishing company, learned enough Welsh to tell people in Welsh that I don't actually speak Welsh, made friends with an adorable old Welsh painter who gave me a signed print, went on a field trip with a bunch of Welsh school children, almost got sent home at Heathrow customs, and had several articles published in the magazine I worked for.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really want to learn how to free dive.
