About Me

CURRENT MISSION
I have been working passionately as an art educator, art therapist and visual artist for about 19 years. A few years ago, I took a sabbatical when I traveled and did volunteer work across Brazil, Europe and Asia. In this period I was researching about methodologies and inspiring projects in the areas of innovative education, community life in harmony with nature, environmental solutions and ancient practices for personal development (such as yoga and meditation). After this period of travel, I started designing a new educational approach that aims to integrate, at the same time, the philosophical teachings of Buddhism, Yoga and indigenous wisdom (for personal development), Anarchism (for social engagement) and Permaculture/ Agroecology (for environmental regeneration).
At the moment, I'm going to Italy to do a volunteer work in a Buddhist Meditation Center for to learn and practice more about Dharma.

ABOUT ME

I love getting in touch with different people and cultures exchanging knowledges and sharing experiences.
I'm a curious-experimenter person and I believe that we can find poetry even in the simple details of life.
Since I started learning how to grow trees and food, I understood that we can find the answers to all existential questions (such as "impermanence" and "interdependence" of all nature elements and life cycles) just observing, connecting and interacting with nature (please, try it!).
Nowadays I'm sure that, by awakening our personal awareness, we can foster social and environmental regeneration in order to achieve the "better world" that we all want, so, every personal choices and attitudes can make a huge difference.
I appreciate everything that is sincere and makes my soul dance.
For me, each of us is an "universe" and I love when I feel invited to know a little bit more about it; visitors are welcome at mine too (since you "knock on the door" first!) ;)

PHILOSOPHY

"Be the change that you wish to see in the world."- Gandhi

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I traveled for one year basicly doing couchsurfing and wwoofing and I LOVED this experience. I also received lots of people in my house (friends of friends) as "informal" couchsurfers and it was an amazing experience to share a little bit of my life with people from different cultures, but now I want to welcome other travellers from the CS community too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For me, it's the best way to get in touch with people from different cultures :)

I'm really keen to learn everything. Whatever is important and meaningful for you, just share with me! :) I love listening and telling good stories!
I also like cooking, so would be a pleasure for me to prepare something good to eat or learn from you your favorite dish :)
At my house in Brazil, I traditionaly organize "saraus" (a Brazilian cultural evening where people usually meet to express themselves in an artistic way), so if you are interested, I can help you organize this in your house (if I'm your guest) or, if you're lucky, you can experience it in my house (if I'm you're host) ;)
