I'm wildly passionate about plants, fungi, and sunshine. I'm an aspiring clinical herbalist, mycologist, and forest farmer. I like to get groovy and be weird and have fun but also relax into the quiet at times. I find solace in nature and find that time essential to my sanity and my being as a whole. I also like to get dressed up and go into the city and drink wine and have a cheese plate and blast music incredibly loud (when appropriate, I won't do this in your home, haha). I encourage any and all of what makes you happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Gaslight Anthem/ Brian Fallon is my favorite of all time ever. I also enjoy Townes Van Zandt, James Taylor, The Boss, Bobby D, Ariana Grande, Gregory Alan Isakov, The Lumineers, Hozier, Lord Huron (anything in that genre).
Books: Siren of Titan- Kurt Vonnegut, Desert Solitaire- Edward Abbey. Mostly I just read herbalism books.
Movies: the first of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the fourth Harry Potter movie, Stand By Me, Spirited Away, Almost Famous.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've started down the path of herbalism! To me this is amazing. I so grateful and proud to be moving in a direction that feels right and authentic to me after having no clue who I was or where I wanted to end up for years. I'm getting to know the plants, and the body, and other herbalist and taking the steps to learn more and more. I've done herbalism internships and now work weekly with a practicing clinical herbalist. I've also seen the desert in Utah and WOW. To have witnessed that beauty is something special.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a lover of learning and find most anything interesting that's presented with genuine passion. I'm pretty knowledgeable about medicinal and edible plants as well as how they interact with the human body. I'm currently on a quest to become an herbalist and many of my travels revolve around this.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my enthusiasm and genuine self. I can share plant knowledge. Nice conversation over a meal. Company to a stand up comedy act. I can cook but it only tastes good about 70 percent of the time so just a warning.
