ABOUT ME

I live in Chieri, a town with 30,000 people that is 11 km far away from Torino, an important city in the north-west of Italy, where I study and spend a lot of time during the week. I study Industrial Biotechnology and now I'm on the 5th year. I've already got a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology. From February i'll move to Helsinki for a master thesis that will last 3 months more or less.
At the moment I play rugby in the team of my town and I have the matches every Sunday. I give private classes to high-school boys in order to earn money useful to live in Helsinki. In my spare time I usually surf on internet or watch TV. When I don't have to study for the exams I like reading adventure books, and in the sunny days I like running through the country roads near my house.
I like music and I would like to play the guitar one day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As i don't live in Turin and to reach you have to travel 30 minutes by car, I don't think my house could be so helpful to host people. Moreover I still live with my parents and my house is not so big. Sure i'll host people when i will live alone. Currently I would be available to be a 'tourist guide' for people who need it, and in extra-ordinary cases i would arrange a bed for one person

Interests

I'm interested in sports. I like above all football (I support Inter Milan FC) and rugby as team sports, swimming, athletics and skiing.
I like travelling and knowing new places, and when I have to live there for a while, I like to learn a little of the language they speak there, to integrate the best possible. I love going out and share experiences of any type with my friends and with the new people I meet. I love reading, especially after a run through the city parks and a comfortable bath or shower. I love music and I listen many types of it: Rock, Punk, Pop, Dance, Electronic, Jazz, Soul, Country...everything. I like concerts, mostly if outdoors. I like sciences, infact I'm studying biotechnologies, and I like thinking that everything can be used for more than one aim. In the rainy days I think that cinema or a movie at home is always a good way to spend the time. I love eating together, and since I'm a rugby player, I'm fond of beer.
