我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I read the book 1000 days of spring by Tomislav Perko a Croatian couch surfer. It really opened my eyes to the possibilities of meeting new people and getting immediately emersed into their culture.

兴趣

Singing and playing guitar is my passion. I love to sing at parties (Coisir) , in pubs or even just with my family (mo chlann). I try and teach guitar to anyone willing.

I also love the outdoors and sports (watching or playing) I have played gaelic (Irish football) and soccer all my life.

I love YouTube, TV and movies also!

Music (Ceol): Folk, rock, pop, irish trad, trance. I love all types of music. My favourite artists would be Bon Iver, The National, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, James Taylor, Damien Dempsey, Simon and Garfunkel, Ludovico Einaudi, Armin Van Burren, Sigur Ros Declan O Rourke, Metallica, Thin Lizzy, U2 and loads more

Movies (Scannán): Comedy, action, thriller and I'm not ashamed to say it....you can't beat a good rom-com! Favourites I can think of would be Crash, A place beyond the pines, Drive, City of God, Hitch can't think of any more! Also I love the show New girl!

Books (Leabhar): Reading a lot of travel books recently. The Road, Vagabonding, Into the Wild, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I like historical fiction like Jeffrey Archer or Ken Follett. Love all of John Steinbeck especially East of Eden.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I toured Thailand with my guitar for 2 months in 2014. Playing on 4 different islands singing in pubs and on the beach. It was great playing music for free buckets! I hope to top that one day!
