Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently travelling the Brazilian coast with my partner and one year old daughter. Couch surfing is a great opportunity to share time with people who know more in depth the city and culture of the places I visit. It provides an excellence exchange for language learning and a taste of the daily local life.

I enjoy the small things that make life beautiful - flowers, nature, people and smiles. I am always looking to meet new friends to share a meal, experiences and create new memories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot and one of the hardest parts of travelling in not being able to take books with me. A few of my favourites are Shantaram, Memoirs of a Griesha and the Secret Life's of Bees.

A quote that inspires me is 'happiness is only real when shared' (Into the Wild). I am extremely lucky that I have been able to share my recent travel adventures with so many wonderful people and hosts along the way.
