Overview
About Me
I’m a portfolio manager managing my own stock portfolio. I’ve been living in the UK for the past six years and I’m Irish-Brazilian. I’m very interested in learning more about your culture, and I’m particularly drawn to North American culture, as I’ve previously lived in both the USA and Canada.
I live in Edinburgh city centre, near the Meadows, overlooking the University of Edinburgh. I have a large bedroom with a couch and can host you for up to two days. I share the flat with other flatmates, so everything would need to be quiet and well organised to avoid disturbing them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I currently have some space and availability, so I decided to host or meet new people. I’m really interested in learning about different cultures, especially food, economics, customs, and languages.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I enjoy all styles, from the late ’70s right up to today.
Movies: Mostly comedy, fiction, romance, and horror.
Books: Self-help, business, and finance.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve done many amazing things in my life. One of the most recent was my time in Malta, where I lived and worked for four months. I ate sushi every day and woke up to clear blue waters. I felt completely free there, as if life had no end.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you some local spots and introduce you to local food and drinks — just ask!
If I host you, it means I have the time to hang out and explore together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company, great wine, and I can cook too. Let’s enjoy a meal together some day or night, sharing good times and great stories.
