Hey Couchsurfers! I'm entering my last year of college at the University of California, Santa Cruz, California, USA. I have no idea what life holds after this chapter so I've decide (on a whim) to blow all my savings and see some of the world. I've embarked on a solo adventure through Europe for the next month!! Exciting! Scary! But leaves room for marvelous new experiences, befriending people of all varieties, and education of the world and myself. I'm very fond of apartment walls with delicate windows and color arrangements, dedicating 15 minutes every evening to the sunset, and great bud&brew. I am open minded, well mannered, and ecstatic! I look forward to learning new things as well as sharing what I know.

Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Greece (Athens, Mykonos, Santorini), Italy (Rome, Genoa, Florence), Spain (Barcelona), England (London, Brighton), and finally DAM!!!!

I want to live like you! Share with me what you and your friends love and enjoy. What is fun to YOU? What about your city are you proud to share? I want to dance till 5am at your favorite hole-in-the-wall venue I'd never find by myself. I want to sit in your apartment and listen to your favorite music and drink beer and look outside your window. I want to sit at your favorite spot on top of that one hill at that one park to see all the colors melt during sunset. And you can do all those things with me when you come to Santa Cruz, California, USA.

Interests

I really enjoy museums, particularly art museums. I fawn over grand masterpieces of architecture - that's one of my main reasons for visiting many of the places on this trip (so far I've spent time in Prague and marveled over the castle's intricate design in every detail!!). I like wondering the streets following where my eye leads. I usually walk towards nouns that catch my eye (for whatever intriguing reason: colors, sounds). I love being surrounded by music (of any kind!) and when I'm really feelin myself, I am a kickass dancer. Depends on my mood and yours!

Music, Movies, and Books

Indulge in some raw Quentin Tarantino films!!!! (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill Volume 1&2, Inglorious Bastards, Django Unchained), and Wes Anderson has quite an eye for color palettes.

Music wise, I listen to a variety of genres and artists. Currently reading A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers. Absolutely amazing read, Eggers has a hilarious narrative and god the HUMOR!! I'm only on the acknowledgements section and I can't stop laughing on the train.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently in Old Town Square, Praha, I had a man play and sing New York New York on the piano for me. A Czech man preceded to ask me to ballroom dance with him. We were having a grand time when his beautiful grey hound became extremely jealous and started humping his owner's leg. All amongst this, an array of magnificent bubbles surrounded the square atmosphere. It felt like a scene from a distant dream. I guess this was something that happened to me, rather than something I did, but it was still amazing nonetheless.
