I'm 47 am married and have two grown Daughters ages 29 and 26. I've been a class A Truck Driver for 18 years, and I team with my husband Malcolm. I've been all over the U.S. And Canada with my job, but never anywhere else.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My daughter Dawn told me about this, because she knows that I really want to go to England, Ireland, Scotland and France one day. I'm saving my frequent flyer miles so that I can buy my round trip ticket that way in order to be able to have more cash on hand. I'm not really interested in doing the whole get on a bus to site see, when it would be more fun making friends and seeing the sites from local people. I don't know when I will be going, but when I do, I want to be ready.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 29 and lived in Florida, and a single mother of two daughters, I decided I needed a way to care for my girls better. So I went to Truck Driving school and learned how to drive a big rig. It changed my life for the better, I met and Maried my driving partner and moved to California. I pull double trailers now and have for years. It's not exotic, but I'm quite proud of it.
