About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to go everywhere!

ABOUT ME

I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching in Ukraine. I've lived here in a small village Kotel'va for about a year and a half. I'm really enjoying my time here meeting new people and making new friends and my students are always a blast.

I'm pretty easy going and love to meet new people in new places. This is my first time in Europe and want to take every opportunity to travel. I'll be traveling and volunteering at camps this summer and am hoping to couch surf during my travels. Of course, if anyone is headed to Ukraine anytime soon, let me know! I can show you what a real Ukrainian village is like and take you shashliking by the river with my neighbors!

Hope to see some of you guys around!

PHILOSOPHY

i don't know if this counts as a personal philosophy, but i think it applies to my take on life in general

"on a daily basis, we encounter a great number of people of various occupations, ages, and ethnicities and of both genders; some of these people are the same on most occasions, others are not; most are strangers, but some are friends"

i hope to meet strangers and friends in my travels!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i just couchsurfed a few weeks ago in Kyiv and it was fantastic!!
I think the best thing about couch surfing is the chance to experience a city with the locals. or at least live like one!

Interests

seeing new places, doing new things, meeting new people and really anything and everything. i love going to bars in different cities and catching shows when i can.
