Fun, Festivals, Friends and France!
Good question. At first I’m easy going. I like to spend time with the people around, when they want to. But I am also independent and interested in new things.
In every situation I try to be optimistic, because pessimism is dragging you down and you will loose automatically.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to host people from foreign countries, like to show them “my Berlin” and exchange to learn something about their life. But I also like travelling and when I’m surfing a couch I can see more of the real life.
My first couchsurfing experience was in November 2010 as surfer in Dubai and it was so awesome.
All the guests I invited to my couch were very special and I was happy to have them around. I saw so much more of Berlin thanks to them.
December 2012 to January 2013 I travelled with a friend of mine from Toronto via Niagra Falls to NYC. In NYC I met up with a great CSer and we travelled all the way down to Key West together. We saw so much and met wonderful hosts and "CS-tourguides". An experience I dont wanna miss.
I love to go by foot or by bike and discovering new areas, so I am able to find the nicest spots in Berlin. I’m not a typical party person, about once a month I like to go out with friends but not in those high society clubs, more the alternative clubs without pumps and with good electronical music ;-) In summer I like to go to parks or to electronic festivals. I love reading laying in on my hammock and enjoy the sun on my balcony. Oh yeah of course I’m interested in my three cheeky chinchillas.
Music, Movies, and Books
Most time nonfamous DJ’s. But in my playlist you could find besides electro, also reggae, metal, charts, classic music … my taste in music is tolerant ;-) Lord of war, Zodiac, Equilibrium, Vendetta, Breaking Bad just too much to write it down. Normally I like to read dramatic personal stories like “desert flower” “The kite runner”, political/ historical books and thriller from Simon Beckett.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every year in june when the festival season get startet, I see fantastic art, fantastic people and just enjoy my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I try to improve my english and I could share my knowledge about Berlin.
