About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking for new people, new places & new experiences

ABOUT ME

Always looking for a joke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only surfed so far. Once I get settled into a new place, I would like to do some hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurf was set up by a friend in November. It was most excellent, so I joined the site and have done a bit of surfing on my own. I dragged my sister into it, too. :)

Interests

Hmm...let's see...I like breaking rocks, growing things, cooking, eating, singing karaoke, kicking around in puddles, paddling canoes, getting crunk, dancing, and laughing so hard that I almost pee my pants.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy turning my brain off to bad action movies. I'm a LOTR fan, but not enough that I'd dress up to go see The Hobbit.
Most of the music I listen to these days has an OONTZ-OONTZ beat to it. My historical music collection, however, contains mostly ska, punk, hardcore and gothic industrial. Oh, and I liked Mariah Carey when I was 10. So sue me.
Gaaah, this part just reminds me that I haven't been reading enough lately...I'm trying to power through some French geology books at the moment. I've almost got the pictures memorized.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sweating to death but totally in love with Sir Edward James's Las Pozas in Xilitla, Mexico
Cute attack by the city of Colmar, Alsace, France
War memorials in Eastern Germany

Teach, Learn, Share

Want to know about rocks?? No? *sigh* Fine.
I like geeky science stuff and can generally offer some useless (or sometimes useful) information there. I can show you how to make a mean guacamole. Maybe you can teach me how something works because I'm trying to be more mechanically-inclined.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, United States
