ABOUT ME

Cinzia: I am Italian but I have been living in London for 17 years, and I enjoy this big city which gives me the opportunity to do many things and meet many people from any cultural background.

Davide: I am Italian, living in London since 2008. When I travel I enjoy meeting with local people so I can learn about their culture. I am a telecommunication engineer and I practice Nicheren Daishonin Buddhism.

We have been together since 2009

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Cinzia started to see what couchsurfing was about through meeting a guy in Lisbon. As she liked it, she and Davide had their first "surfing" experience in San Jose (Costa Rica). Further we have a lot of friends who tell us about the wonders of surfing so we would like to do more of it! Therefore we have recently spent 3 months in America Latina, couchsurfing in Buenos Aires and Northern Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador and Colombia, and it has been an unforgettable experience.

Interessi

Argentinian tango, salsa, yoga, nicheren buddhism, italian songwriters, reading books, new technology, traveling, scuba diving and laughing with friends.
Trying to learn Spanish when traveling.

Musica, film e libri

We like Italian soongwriters and a bit of every type of music - not techno thought! We love Argentinian Tango music, from De Sarli to Piazzola, to modern groups such as Bajofondo Tango Club and Gotan Project.
Classical book writers, such as Dostojesky, Pirandello, Kafka, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabel Allende, Bugalkov etc.
We prefer watching Cult movies and lots of history and geographic documentaries.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Cinzia: One amazing thing I have done is being able to be happy and love!
Also being consistent and compassionate in working in Child Protection.
Amazing places visited: scuba diving in Honduras; snorkeling in Mexican Cenotes.
Being the first one on top of Chiceniza pyramid at 6 am (extremeeeeely amazing if you knew how lazy I am)!
Davide: Scuba diving, moving to UK at the tender age of 32

We can teach both Italian and English, Davide may be able to repair your pc if needed!
We can learn from your experiences and steal a bit of your skills!!!

To meet up and show you what we are up to in London.
But cannot host as we live in a studio flat.
