Hellooo! :)

I am going to study Creative Business: International Media and Entertainment Management at Inholland University of Applied Sciences because I am passionate about cinematography and turning original ideas into reality.

Right now I live in Romania with a big part of my family. Consequently, I am used to the following key activities/concepts: small cousins, gardening, helping, empathy, washing dishes, sharing, talking a lot, different types of human beings, brotherly love etc.

I enjoy different types of art. I am currently writing, reading and dancing unprofessionally like "the soul of the party" my friends say I am. I would LOVE to learn how to play the piano, how to dance salsa/bachata or any other out of the ordinary activities.

I believe that good and bad are relative because after bad, depending on your own perspective, comes BETTER. Sometimes I annoy myself saying this, but suffering is fascinating really. Embrace it and turn it into a valuable life lesson. You are not alone.

I often feel the need to help other people in every way I can or they need, but I am aware of the fact that, first, I have to fully develop myself so that I can actually make a change in this world in an authentic way.

I have a sincere and loud laugh and I like being myself. I love public speaking.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

As I mentioned before, I have been accepted to study in The Hague. The moment I got the news I’ve started looking for accommodation because I am supposed to live there for a few years. I got very surprised finding that my options are very limited due to the high prices comparing to my country and my lifestyle.

My hope is to find among you all, someone who can help accommodate me at least for a few months until I find an affordable room. Or maybe is there one of you who can accommodate me for one year or more, even if I have to pay a monthly rent.

Please think about it a little bit and maybe you have a friend who can help me, or you know a family who is willing to share a room with me for a better price than what I have found so far.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love listening to music because I feel like it can help me on many levels, sometimes healing me and sometimes just giving me energy. I can't really say that I have a favorite type of music because what I listen to usually depends on my mood. However, I have a few favorite artists: Frank Sinatra, Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Etta James and a little bit of 50 Cent. Also, I was told that I am "soul of the party" :)

"Movie" is the key word for a great day... especially for a family "SunDay". My type of movie is usually one with a happy or at least interesting ending because I believe that in life good can come up from bad happenings as well. The movies that made a great impression on me and I will be more than happy to watch them many times are: Real Steel, A Little Chaos and Ana Karenina (the 2012 version).

Books are a blessing for me. Every time I read, I underline lines that surprise me and help me understand myself better. I usually like books that are focused on romance and description. My favorite author is Camil Petrescu, a Romanian author, because his books are focused on inner conflicts, described through very unexpected comparisons.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I am very glad that I am one of the people who have the courage to follow their potential and passions. So, in my last year of high school, when the English teacher had given us the assignment to make a short-film on any theme we could come up with, I saw a great chance to express my imagination and gain experience. Consequently, I chose a few of my most-trusted colleagues and directed this project. Of course, there were several complications and obstacles, but we faced them well.

However, besides he technical details, what makes this short-film so special is its tangled theme. Our future was split in two opposite sides, The Quiet and The Loud, and, also, in danger of war. In order to solve the conflicts between them, the future leaders decided to avoid violence and, instead, bring three people from three different periods of time (The Shakesperian Period, The 80's and The 21st century) to make them see their destinies so that when they come back in their times they will act on them and eventually change the course of events.

My character was Crystal, the 80's young enthusiast, and my destiny in the short film was to be a singer and heal people through my music. I have to say that having curly hair for one night was very funny.

After we finished this short-film I realised that only after sweat and tears can the reward come and, also, that it is important for everyone, from a young body to a young spirit, to be themselves because that is the only way they will ever be able to live a happy life and help other people as well.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I have to admit I am not really sure what "Teach, Learn, Share" means, but I will try to use my open-mindedness.
My culture is not so well-known around the world so that will give my "teaching" extra points. By this, I mean that I will be very excited to share our traditional food recipes and our traditional dance moves because we care a lot about a great meal and party atmosphere. Also, besides this, what I can teach you is just my perspective on my own experiences, whether they are life lessons or beautiful happenings.
Learning is one thing I am sure we will never stop doing because life is full of occasions and opportunities. Right now, my greatest opportunity is studying abroad, which will help me discover myself and the world better.
Sharing is, in my opinion, something everybody should do because if we help each other, we are happier. For me, this is one of the most meaningful day-to-day activities.

Engaging and being open-minded in conversations and friendships, and my talent for washing dishes :)

Also, we are all humans so we all have our ups and downs. I am ready to support you through happiness and rough moments. I like to listen and observe so I usually give great pieces of advice.

I love public speaking so I can help you overcome your limits. As long as you are yourself, everything will be just fine :)
