About Me

I am a very outgoing jolly person, I love meeting and connecting with new people. I love learning about people’s cultures and a fun of everything outdoor. I love cooking and baking even though am no expert.
I am trying to travel more and see the world.
I am from uganda East Africa and would be happy to show you around and join you for adventures around East Africa if our schedule's match.
I love travelling alone because it allows me to meet and connect with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I love connecting with people from different cultures and exploring places through the eyes of locals. For me, travel isn’t just about visiting attractions it’s about meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and learning from others’ perspectives.

I enjoy exchanging stories, sharing my Ugandan culture, and I’m always happy to cook a Ugandan meal or help out around the house as a way of saying thank you. I believe in kindness, respect, and leaving every place a little brighter than I found it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most unforgettable things I’ve ever done is bungee jumping! I took the leap in Uganda, right over the River Nile one of the world’s most iconic rivers.

It was terrifying and exhilarating all at once. Standing on the edge, every part of me was screaming “Don’t do it!” but I pushed through the fear and jumped. That split second of free fall felt like flying time slowed down, and it was just me, the air, and the river rushing beneath me.

The adrenaline rush was unbelievable, and the sense of accomplishment after was even better. It taught me a lot about courage, trust, and the thrill of stepping out of my comfort zone.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love meaningful cultural exchanges and I’m always happy to share my experiences, skills, and stories with my hosts! Here’s a bit of what I bring:

1. Travel Stories:
I enjoy sharing travel experiences especially from my journeys across East Africa and beyond. I have plenty of interesting stories about Ugandan culture, life in East Africa, and unique adventures from off-the-beaten-path places. I love hearing others’ travel tales too!

2. Ugandan Food:
I’m happy to cook a traditional Ugandan meal for my hosts! Some of my favorite dishes to make include matooke (steamed green bananas), groundnut sauce, chapati, and rolex (Uganda’s famous street snack). I love cooking for others as a way of saying thank you and bringing a little piece of my home to theirs.

3. Conversations & Cultural Exchange:
I love deep, meaningful conversations about life, culture, and everything in between. I’m curious about how people live in different parts of the world, and I also enjoy sharing insights about Ugandan traditions, customs, and even our music and dances.

4. Kindness, Respect & Good Vibes:
Above all, I value kindness, respect, and creating positive connections. I’m clean, organized, and mindful of the space I’m staying in. I treat every home as if it were my own.

5. Helping Hands:
If my host needs help with anything whether it’s running errands, sharing ideas for travel, or even light chores I’m happy to lend a hand where I can.

For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about finding a place to stay it’s about building friendships, sharing cultures, and making memories.
