About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm working on a TV show and filming wedding ceremonies.

ABOUT ME

Some people are good at speaking but the others are not. I'm not a talktive person unless I know somebody very well. I like to get involved in activities as much as I can and most of time I am responsible for taking pictures. I'm an asigned photographer in the International Student Tutor Mentor Program of San Diego State University since 2007 and the president of SDSU Taiwanese Student Association in 2008. Moreover, I'm a certificated cook and I've been cooking on a TV show in Taiwan few years ago. I cook almost everyday and invite my friends to enjoy the food together once in while. Sometimes I teach them how to cook as well. I'm good at cooking Chinese dishes and would like to teach anyone who wants to learn.

PHILOSOPHY

I think, therefore I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's my first time to participate in this program. I did host some new students for couple days before but none of them are CSers. I picked them up at the airport and took them around San Diego.

Interests

1. Baseball & Softball: As a freshman, I took a part in school baseball team and in department softball team as an infielder. I still play both of them very often after graduated.

2. Playing Guitar: Jointed guitar club in the college, I didn’t only learn how to play but teach juniors. Sometimes I play guitar before I go to sleep. It makes me feel comfortable and easy to fall in sleep.

3. Handmade Stereo Greeting Card: Ten years ago, one of my senior who taught poster drawing in the guitar club asked juniors send her a handmade Christmas card in December. After sending my first handmade Christmas card, I began to learn to how to make greeting card more sophisticated by myself. Afterward, I made many kinds of stereo greeting cards to my friends in special holidays or when they have a birthday. They all love it very much.

4. Baking Moon Cake: It’s a coincidence. My mom is a
housewife and she is good at cooking. Ten more years ago, she got a baking recipe of how to bake moon cake from her dressmaker. She asked me help her to bake moon cake together. We followed the recipe step by step and successfully made it. I’m surprised that it really tasted good. Several times after, it became my interest to bake moon cake. The majority of my friends, especially females, love my moon cake very much.

5. Traveling: When I was a school baseball team player, I’d to practice baseball after class everyday. The competitions were usually held on the holiday so that I couldn’t travel anywhere with my friends. After graduated, I don’t have to practice baseball anymore. So I can go traveling everywhere with my friends. Moreover, I like to take pictures in order to keep our beautiful memories instead of writing diaries.
