ABOUT ME

I'm living in the center of Antwerp, a medium sized city, located in the center of Western Europe. I studied history, worked for years in sales, and am now working on a second master in international relations and diplomacy. Although I am interested in everything happening on this Earth, I have a special interest in the history and culture of Turkey. I am also involved into politics.

PHILOSOPHY

The chance that we wouldn't be born is endless much higher than being born. So we must see our life as a gift and we can dispose of it as we like.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am at the moment mostly reading non-fiction. I like to watch mostly epic and historical movies and series, like 'Alexander'. I can enjoy many kinds of music, from modern classical, over jazz to Turkish, Iranian and Indian :-)

My city is located at the Scheldt river, and has one of the most important harbors of the world (2nd in europe, 4th in the world) and an important concentration of chemical industry (1st in europe, 2nd in the world. The administrative city counts around 500 000 inhabitants and the morphological agglomeration 950 000. It's a city with a lot of cultural happenings and an interesting historical center, where u can see among others the cathedral, city hall, churches, the house of Rubens, lots of museums. Besides that there are also enough opportunities to go out.
