"Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth." - Thoreau
I love to bike and just be outside. I always enjoy an engaging conversation. I am interested in animal rights, social justice and environmental issues.
I've worked/volunteered at wildlife centres for the last 7 years on and off, so I tend to talk about animals a lot...
I've been vegan for 10 years now, and I enjoy baking/cooking and the DIY philosophy.
I've travelled across canada via train/bus, but the next adventure may involve biking! or perhaps a new country? By studying bats, I was able to travel out of the country a couple times to go to bat conferences and met some sweet couchsurfing folks along the way:)
I just moved back to sudbury from halifax where I completed my masters studying the social behaviour of bats at maternity colonies in newfoundland and throughout nova scotia.
Next I want to move south - where I'll be warm all year round.
"We must come to grief and regret anyway -- and I for one would rather regret the reality than its phantasm, knowledge than hope, the deed than the hesitation, true life and not mere sickly potentialities."
