Love to travel and want to learn Spanish!!!! (it is not going well though...)

I moved to Mexico City without a job or place to live in order to learn Spanish. I am finding it much more difficult than I thought it would be, probably because I have no background and no Mexican friends to help me! I live for free and work in a hostel, so could really use some local friends if anyone wants to hear cool stories about the USA and China!!!

I would love to learn Spanish. I need someone to TEACH me though, not just try to talk to me, because I have very little background. I am also really good at teaching English if someone wants to do a swap!
