ABOUT ME

Hi. I'm Chris, but everyone calls me C.J. I travel to pursue my love of physically demanding activities and to seek input about the world from others. One of my goals is to understand your little corner of the universe and contribute to it however I can. That's basically my mission statement since recently leaving my “office” job in Los Angeles to work “remotely” in order to see and experience the world.

I consider myself an easy guest because I'm easy going and friendly. I'm a bit quiet by nature. So, I don't indulge in the "party" scene too often (sometimes) but do enjoy getting to know people by sharing stories and ideas.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Traveling is my passion. I joined CS awhile ago, but am just starting to use the website again. I’ve had to good fortune to travel a lot recently and have met and stayed with so many fascinating people from various sources. Through CS, I have created and shared many truly incredible memories.

Currently don’t have a permanent address, but I do have a lot of connections in the Los Angeles and Orange County regions of California. Send me a message, and I will try my best to either find you a place to stay or enhance your travel experience in some way. I can also share my experiences with whomever is interested. When I have a permanent address again, you are more than welcome to stay with me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I’ve lost count of how many couches, campsites and strangers have positively impacted my life since I left Los Angels in September 2014. I hope I've had an equally positive impact on those I've met.

Interests

My interests have evolved slightly since beginning my walkabout. I’ve become an avid hiker, camper, museum goer, and a bigger consumer of the arts (especially local music and literature). I love to inhale new people and ideas and to engage in outdoor physical activities.
