ABOUT ME

I often carry a notebook in my back pocket. When I see something unique, I write it down. When I hear something intriguing, I write it down. I try to take as much time as possible to observe. To listen. But there's rarely enough time to get it all. So some day I'll go back.

This is how I choose to learn about myself and the world around me. Former Rocky Mountain News columnist Greg Lopez once wrote, "I don't write stories to show how people are different. I try to show how people are the same." We tell stories because that's what we are. We are experiences. We are histories. And I like to take note of that.

My first CS experience dates back to 2009, when a couple of rad dudes in Nashville took us in and enlightened us, setting the bar very high.
