Hey there!

I am Cj - a passionate traveller and nature lover.

I have been fortunate enough to travel from a young age, and I don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon! In fact I now dedicate most of my time to running an online platform for solo travellers, called Go Travel and Talk. When I am not doing that, I work as a consultant I’m recruitment.

I love meeting new people and learning, and I really enjoy being outdoors exploring nature. I love yoga, meditation and all animals!

I currently live in England but I enjoy travelling, so spend a lot of my time on the road :) I have just returned from a 6 month trip in South America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and learning as much as I can when I do. I think couchsurfing offers an amazing way to meet likeminded people and explore the place you are visiting through local eyes. I think that sort of cultural exchange is amazing and completely unique and I would love to experience it and be a part of it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am currently reading The Art of Happiness with the Dalai Lama. I love books that can teach me things and open my mind.

In studied Psychology so I enjoy movies that make me think... and of course I like comedy’s when I need some down time!

I like chilled music and I love Jazz - especially if it is live.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in South America in most of the places I visited, as a way of positively impacting the community as best as I could. I met some incredible people who really taught a lot.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very positive and upbeat person which I hope to share with others. I am also native English speaking and I will happily teach others if they would like me too. I have experienced and done some amazing things as a solo traveller and I would love to share that too. From starting up Go Travel and Talk, I now know all about setting up a business and how to run social media which I can also share if they would like.
