About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To go somewhere new, and leave knowing you did it right.

ABOUT ME

There is nobody I would rather host than someone who can enjoy and appreciate good company with funny people. I refuse to go a day without some laughter. I'm goal driven and when I need to get down to studying/business, I do so.

PHILOSOPHY

To build upon my knowledge every day and continue to serve as a role model for those pursuing a righteous and enjoyable career.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I host, I want to give you my full attention and help in getting around the city comfortably. I only host travelers and couchsurfers when my schedule permits me to do so. I want you to have a great experience in this city and i'm open to questions and suggestions before your stay here in Poznan.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted couchsurfers so far from England, Finland, and USA. I've couchsurfed in London, Sheffield, and Krakow.

Interests

I believe in life-long learning, so everyday I try to read an interesting article about something other than what i'm studying (medicine). I watch the Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart, Sportscenter on a daily basis, 'TED' talks especially about advances in technology in health care/hospitals. Yes, I am actually subscribed to the New York Times and I prefer reading out of the Science, Health, Wellness and Sports sections. Since moving Poland for Medical School, my interest in traveling and adventuring has never been greater. When I have free time, I walk around the city i'm currently living in (Poznan) and try to discover new restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs/bars/watering holes.

Music, Movies, and Books

With movies I always end up picking the comedy over a long drama. For example "Wedding Crashers" over "Titanic". The music I listen ranges from Progressive, House, & Electro to Classic-Rock & Jazz. I lived in Burlington, Vermont for 4 years so I also dabble in Reggae and Dave Matthews/Dispatch, essentially the summertime genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every kids dream at the ballpark is to catch a foul ball. When I was playing in a national tournament in Orlando, Florida, our team went to the 18 year old championship game with thousands of people in attendance. The ball dropped 2 feet in front of me and spun right into my lap effortlessly. Should have seen the smile on my face.

More recently, when I was offered acceptance into Medical School I left the admission office nearly speechless. 24 hours I was meeting my future colleagues at first-year orientation. 1 week later, lectures began. "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." -Bueller
