Hey! I'm Chris, a techy person by trade who loves to spend time doing outdoorsy activities. I'd travel more if I could but a mix of climate reasons and huge workloads means I'm lacking in exploration!

Water is definitely my element, but I'm increasingly taking up climbing and mountaineering after my girlfriend started bringing me to her favourite mountain spots.

As of writing, I'm also learning wakeboarding and diving, and have recently started taking running more seriously (if you're also a runner, my target pace is 4:00/km - let's run together!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love authentic experiences. Hotels never really floated my boat. I want to see how locals spend their time and share cultures.

I also love languages, although I'm not a great speaker of many! I'm intermediate at French and have just a handful of phrases in other languages to order beer and local cuisine.
