ABOUT ME

I just moved to Antwerp,where I work as an energy consultant. I enjoy a lot of things, from drunk parties and loud festivals to long and boring discussions about world problems (preferably over a beer).

I would love to see the world, but haven't travelled a lot recently due to my new job, but this will change very soon. Next year I plan to quit my job, end the contract for the room I rent and start travelling. Meeting new people, explore different cultures, learning new languages,... just do the things that really matter in life!

PHILOSOPHY

Don’t worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as
effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing
bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that
never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm
on some idle Tuesday...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only a few surfing experiences so far, but enough to know this is a great concept and a nice way to meet interesting people.
One downside though: I dont like planning ahead my trips so it can be a bit hard to find a host in time. But I guess I only have myself to blame for that...

Music, Movies, and Books

Dont ask me for my favourite band, movie, book... I can never answer that kind of questions, it all depends on the company, my mood, etc.
I dont read a lot, but when I do its mostly non-fiction books about topics that are not so popular in western media.
My favourite movies are the ones that make you think, that are still inyour head a few days later (I'm a big fan of Charlie Kaufman for example). But I can also enjoy some brainless fun movies every once and a while.
