About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Summer in Spain!
ABOUT ME
So I made this page for me and my boyfriend Angelo. We're both desperate to spend the summer in Spain because we both study Spanish at university and need to improve (especially me, my spoken Spanish is just not up to scratch!). We're determined to get to Spain whatever way we can either by getting a job out there or by working in the UK at the beginning of the summer to raise some funds to get there later on! We are passionate about languages and have studied a few! Angelo is also bi-lingual (Portuguese and English), I just really want to be fluent in Spanish but need a bit of a push to get out there and speak it. I am studying Environmental management with Spanish at Oxford Brookes university and Angelo studies French and Spanish with European Studies at Bath university.
PHILOSOPHY
Well I believe that although life doesn't really have a meaning we should enjoy it as much as possible and make it enjoyable for other people too! As long as you're happy and healthy you don't need anything else in life :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We're not able to host anyone unfortunately seeing as neither of us have our own house but we really want to travel and meet some new people and gain some amazing experiences.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We're completely new to couchsurfing!
Interests
I'm a bit of an odd mixture, I love science, languages and art. I'm really fascinated by science and nature and love learning languages and travelling. I also really love to draw and paint, make clothes, and cook yummy cakes!

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to films I like comedy and fantasy, a couple of my favourites are Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Pan's Labyrinth. My favourite band without a doubt is Muse. I like rock, alternative, indie and old music (like 80's :p) a big mixture really. As for books I won't put down anything in particular, as long as it can take you away from everyday life and into an adventure its worth reading.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every holiday or journey I've been on has been amazing. One of the things that is most memorable to me is visiting Monument Valley in North America, some of the most spectacular scenery I've ever seen!
Teach, Learn, Share
If anyone needed help learning english I would be happy to help them. I would also happily introduce people to art and cooking (not that I'm an expert in either of them!)
Countries I’ve Visited
Cuba, France, Portugal, Spain, Venezuela
