About Me

Horse mad extrovert that is ultra interested in other peoples passions and pursuits. My Husband and myself love to swop life and travel stories with like minded people who are active and love the outdoors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well we would love to do a lot more traveling then we can probably afford as our Rand is dropping very fast.
We have a lovely big home on a working avocado farm which can accommodate a friendly face now that the kids have up and left us.
In fact we had such an extraordinary experience with a fellow couchsurfer when we were in Vietnam, Mike , who helped us so much to find the right place to stay in NINBIN. During that afternoon in his apartment we met such a colourful mix of folk that were staying with him, his parents (who could not speak a word of English)treated us all to a fantastic lunch that they had prepared with such love that we always said that we would like to do the same for other people. Although he could not accommodate us at the time he was an incredible help in finding the correct situation for us so that we could experience traditional living and eating outside of the city of Hanoi.
