I am a med student in New Orleans, one of the best places to live. I spend a lot of time costuming, riding my bike, hanging out by the pool, attending art shows and performances, and going to bars in my neighborhood. I live in the Bywater, so best part of town for bars, inexpensive delicious food, and parties.

I grew up in Colorado which groomed be to be a fixie rider, a beer snob, and an outdoors-y type. There's less opportunity for the outdoors stuff in New Orleans, but the interest stuck.

I have not had too much time to travel before, as I went through school after school to get here. I am finally getting a good hunk of time off soon and want to plug into the community ahead of time so I can make connections in the places I want to visit.

I also love showing people around/giving rec's for places in New Orleans. It really is a magical place.

I like to cook! That's probably the easiest thing to bring along, and fastest way to make friends. I can also sew and can whip up costumes/hair pieces and other decorations in a flash.
