I am a Brit currently living in Canada and travelling around the USA and Canada over the next year or so. I lived and worked at Big White Ski Resort for the first half of my Working Holiday Visa and loved exploring BC, I spent the summer travelling throughout the US in my rusty van, Monty and now I’ve just arrived in Vancouver hoping to settle here for the next chunk of my Canadian adventure. Back in the UK I was a primary school teacher but I've taken a break from that to live the traveller life for now!
I'm an explorer at heart and enjoy getting to know new places, hiking, biking, running, skiing and being generally active and outside :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed for the first time this summer and loved meeting some locals and get a different perspective of the cities I visited! I really enjoy chatting with hosts to find out what makes them love where they live and have had some fantastic conversations this summer and learnt a lot. Now I’m in Vancouver I’d love to couchsurf a bit while I find my feet and I thought it would be a great way to get some insider knowledge on the city and maybe make some friends!
Though I'm fairly new to couchsurfing so haven't got many references on here, I'm more than happy to chat pre-arrival or answer any further questions you may have about me. Hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and been to the football world cup in Brazil 2014!
