ABOUT ME

I'm recently graduated from university and pining for the student life. But I'm starting to realise I'm out in the big bad world now, so that means travel! And maybe working the rest out on the way.

PHILOSOPHY

Ask me when I'm 90. Right now I feel like I'm too young and wide-eyed about everything to answer this one. If you have a personal philosophy worked out then well done you! I think it's going to take me a lifetime to get there. Although! This phrase is great in all situations; "Ever Tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail again better."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm taking my first baby steps into the Couchsurfing world right now, but having met some fabulous people already I'm eager to give back! So as soon as I know my way around, I'll help others find their feet! Still working on that though, my own feet are not sure what they're about yet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It hasn't been long- but arriving in Vancouver knowing nobody, and after one Couchsurfing meeting feeling like it was all going to be ok, was pretty awesome :)

Interested in travelling of course, in meeting new people and learning more about the world. And then there's the usual- books, music, a cold beer on a hot day, wine with friends, grappling with world affairs, waxing lyrical about my favourite author/poet, which changes all the time, jumping into the ocean, travelling via train (beats planes every time), and a cup of tea as the solution to most of life's problems.
