I’m from Glasgow in Scotland and love to meet new people and chat about life. My passion is to go on road trips and visit new places listening to my favourite music. Now I’m a Mum to a nearly 4 year old boy, my enjoyment is showing him nature and getting him out to play and explore as much as possible in the outdoors. I currently live next to Loch Lomond in Scotland where I’m surrounded by mountains and water. I’m looking forward to hosting others in this lovely part of the world in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m taking my son on his first big roadtrip , he’ll be turning 4 years old soon. The loose plan is a trip around America and then onto Australia. It would be great to meet local people on the way, I find it really adds to the experience when I’ve used Couchsurfing previously and I’ve made some great friends. I’ve hosted many people I’ve met at my home since I returned years ago from my solo roadtrip, these have been through exchanging our contact info rather than through the app. It’ll also help to keep the costs down travelling with my little one and not always staying in motels/hotels when we need a good night sleep and shower - we’re hoping to car camp a lot on the way. He’ll also get to experience the kindness and warm welcome from strangers who often treat you like family on here. Thank you, it’s so appreciated.

Unfortunately I’m not able to host right now, but when I return home, I’ll be more than happy to provide a bed and shower and show you around beautiful Scotland. I’ve been told by many friends in the past I should work for the Scottish tourist board 😂
